In March of 2005 I returned to San Jose to reestablish a home base for myself. I originally intended to rent a condo, but I got a little over-enthusiastic and ended up buying a house instead. |

Before anything else, I had to say hello to Luke. He thought my head was pretty cool, which he expressed by trying to stick his entire hand into my mouth repeatedly. |

River Glen is right down the street from me. I really like this peice, particularly the globes. |

It's not a house that photographs well, but it's a cute little thing. The trees are particularly nice, keeping the place cool year round and providing a playground for the local squirrel population.

The corner view. The tree in the center is a "Cork Oak", and its bark looks and feels exactly like cork. For all I know, these are where cork actually comes from. |

The property backs onto an old Union Pacific Railroad through-way. The tracks were lifted up a few years ago, and there are rumors that a bike path will be put in place sometime soon. |
